This is my 1976 Jaguar XJ6 Series 2, 3.4 litre.
25th November 2009 (price reduced 28th February 2010)
It's for sale for £2200 or any reasonable offer. As you can see in the photos, it's in generally very good condition and has never been restored, so it's a good honest car with only 62,000 miles. The engine is sound and runs well, and has a recently-added manual choke conversion. The body work is generally very good - there is some rust on the rear arches and under the driver's side sill (the latter is not structural), and a couple of small dings near the driver's side fuel-filler cap.
The interior is generally good - all the leather is intact with no rips or tears, though it would benefit from an intensive clean. The wood on the dashboard is good with just a couple of small cracks. The car's main weak point at the moment is that the headlining is loose and probably needs replacing.
I bought it on a whim from eBay but it barely fits in my garage and I just don't have the time to look after it, so have decided to sell it.
If you're interesting in buying it, or in taking a closer look, please email or call 01304 813279 8am-8pm. I'm based about 20 minutes to the east of Canterbury.
